The University of Naples “Federico II” sees
internationalization as a preeminent engagement for
the near future, in the awareness that the
interchange of ideas and international cooperation
are a primary propulsion for research, teaching and
innovation quality. Coherently with this perspective,
the
COINOR (Athaeneum Centre for Communication and
Innovative Organization) has undertaken as its
primary role the support for international services.
A Web site,
Unina International, has been set up as a
practical tool for the research and didactics
diffusion, while cooperation agreements with several
European, American and Asian Countries and a
consortium for the institution of international PhD
have been recently reached.
The University “Federico II” has also contributed to
the implementation of the side deal recently
stipulated between Campania and China. Under
suggestion of the Embassy of Italy in China, the
attention hasn’t fallen on congested cities as
Beijing or Shanghai, but on the areas with features
similar to the Campania setting, such as Tianjin or
the Zhejiang Province, to produce cultural
and economic synergies. The favoured topics for the
creation of cooperation channels are: Transports,
Urban Regeneration, Tourism, University Cooperation,
Commercial Promotion and Industrial Cooperation.
The Universities of Architecture and Engineering of
Naples have recently welcomed, for an annual stage,
Professors and Researchers of Tianjin University,
proving the mutual interest in profitable
cooperation.
